Winifred H. Biles, age 101, of Holland died Monday, September 21, 2015 at Holland Hospital.
Winifred was born in London, England in 1914. Winifred and her husband, Fred, owned a village grocery store for many years in Haywards Heath, Sussex, South England. Fred was a fire fighter in London during the bombing in World War II. After retirement they moved to Holland in 1993.
Winifred was preceded in death by her husband Frederick Biles in 2000.
She is survived by her daughter: Valerie and Rev. Franklyn Roosa of Holland. Three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one great, great, grandchild; nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Dykstra Funeral Home – Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue in Holland. Reverend Franklyn Roosa will be officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery. No visiting is scheduled.
