Wilma I. Witek, age 91, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Home Harbor of Racine. Wilma was born in Racine, June 19, 1924, daughter of the late Claude and Grace (Nee:Hemeon) Allhands.

On June 30, 1943 she was united in marriage to James J. Witek who preceded her in death, March 19, 2013. Wilma was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished time spent with her family.

She will be dearly missed by her children, David (Barbara Sue) Witek, Robert (Barbara) Witek, Richard (Cheryl) Witek; her grandchildren, Jonathan Witek, Sarah (the late William) Wilson, Nora Witek, Jeremy Witek, Christopher Witek, Cory Witek, Alyssa Witek; her great-grandchildren, Kaylee Rose Svendsen, Lane Patrick Wilson, Jada Ann Spencer, Jenna Ann Witek; sister, Marilyn D’Aquisto; sister-in-law, Lillian Witek; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter, Jennifer Marie Witek; grandson, Kevin Robert Witek; brothers, Claude Allhands, Warren (Shirley) Allhands; sister, Marjory (Alfred) Mueller; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Walter Witek, Stella “Peggy” (George) Hedrick, and Tony D’Aquisto,.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, Monday, August 3, 2015, 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Jack Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Monday at the funeral home 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorials to Seasons Hospice have been suggested.
