William Bodnar

Age 44, passed away at home unexpectedly of natural causes. He was born in Kalamazoo on August 4, 1974, the son of George and Gloria Bodnar. William attended Kalamazoo Central High School. He found a love for music and art at an early age. He was a gifted guitarist and singer. William enjoyed the peaceful surrounding of nature and always found comfort in being outdoors on a quiet day. He also loved animals, especially his pet cat. Above all he loved his family. He was a loving son, companion, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed. William is survived by his parents; companion of 22 years, Kimberly Smith; step-son, Aaron Grant; two siblings, Rhonda Pressley and Steven Bodnar; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation will take place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Kalamazoo Humane Society c/o the funeral home.
