William "Bill" VanDenBerg

William Chris VanDenBerg (Bill), age 72, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away surrounded by his family on May 10, 2008. Bill was the son of the late William C VanDenBerg, owner of Klingmans Furniture. He was preceded in death by his son, Christian Jay in 1997. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Diane; son, Scott of Knoxville, TN; daughters, Kathy Cramer (Mike) of Kentwood, MI, and Karey Bart (Mitch) of Hudsonville, MI; eight grandchildren; sisters, Jane Poparad (John) of Tullahoma, TN, and Ginger Sten of East Meadow, NY. Bill attended St. Johns Military Academy in Delafield, WI, and was a member of the Florida West Coast Woodworkers Club. Bill enjoyed sharing his work with many friends. Memorial contributions can be made to the National Kidney Foundation or your local Hospice.
