Wesley Hambright

Wesley M. Hambright, age 76, of Kalamazoo, MI died Saturday afternoon July 15, 2017 at his residence. Wesley was born December 25, 1940 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Walter and Cleo Marie (Gibson) Hambright. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Shoemaker Inc. for 20 years, retiring in 2005. Wesley was also a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jeff Hambright in 2004; and a brother, Bill Hambright in 2005. On August 13, 1960, he was united in marriage to Alma (Lee) Hambright who survives. Also surviving, Mark (Kim) Hambright of Kalamazoo and Mike (Brandi) Hambright of North Adams, MI; 8 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mary (Bob) Copeland of Plainwell and Pat (Donald) Buell of Comstock; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o'clock Friday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway. Visitation will be 5-8pm Thursday at the chapel. Interment will be in Comstock Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Reverence Home Hospice.
