Duholke, Wayne 9/7/1941 - 7/14/2016 Bradenton Wayne Kenneth Duholke, 74, passed away at Bradenton Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness. Wayne grew up in Alberta, Canada as one of four sons born to Edward and Frances Duholke. He obtained his degree in Chemistry at the University of Alberta. He resided in Portage, Michigan from 1977 to 2002, during which time he worked as an analytical chemist at The Upjohn Company (later Pfizer) until his retirement. While living in Portage he participated in several sports leagues, including handball, softball, hockey and tennis. He was active in the Portage Northern High School Band Boosters while his children were in attendance. Wayne was also an avid amateur radio buff. Upon his retirement he moved to Bradenton, Florida. Wherever Wayne lived and visited, he enjoyed outdoor activities with friends and family. He also enjoyed overseas travel to Europe and South America, as well as cruises in the Caribbean. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Frances, brother Donald, and sister-in-law Marlene. He is survived by brother Gerald of Edmonton, brother Brian (Cheryl) of Ft. Saskatchewan and sister-in-law Helen of Calgary; his three children, Alaine (Edward) McKenzie of Columbus, OH, Leanne Jordan of Erlanger, KY and Brent (Melody) of Ruskin, FL; his seven grandchildren, great-grandchild, dear friend Monica Silva, and many special relatives and friends.
