Waneta J. Weber born October 28, 1925 passed September 28, 2016 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is survived by her sister Diana Sweet, children Colleen Edwards (Michael Beres), Susan (Don) Bush, Michael Moore (Lorie Van Duine), and step children Elizabeth, Larry (Sandy), Donald (Pauline), Lenore, Karl (Barb), Colette (Karen Wright), Peter (Connie) Weber, Carolyn (David) Zinger, and Alma (Wayne) Meeusen, and numerous nephews, niece, grand nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceeded in death by her husband Norman and step sons Joeseph (Sheila) and Phillip Weber. She and Norman were members of both Michigan and Arizona fiddlers groups and often played for special occasions. Prior to retiring to Arizona, Waneta was a Retail Manager, volunteer 4-H leader, Bell Telephone operator and when her employer geared up for WW2, assembled grenades. She loved to garden, bicycle, dance, paint and played guitar to Norman's fiddle. She had a wry sense of humor and generous spirit. She will be greatly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 11a.m. at St. Mary's Visitation in Byron Center. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery at 3 p.m. For those who wish, memorial contributions to Hospice of Michigan are appreciated.
