Walter Francis Flahaut, 74, of Allegan, MI passed away at the Wings Home in Allegan on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 after a long illness. Wally is survived by his wife of fifty years, Sylvia, and their two children, David A. Flahaut of Virginia Beach, VA, and Angela M. Cook of Allegan. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Emma L. Cook and Brendan D. Flahaut and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Richard C. Flahaut, two brothers, and two sisters. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
