Vivian E. Bergman aged 86, of Grand Rapids, passed away on February 11, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur. Vivian is survived by her children, Douglas (Kristin) Bergman, Phil (Rosalie) Bergman, Daniel Bergman, and Marie (Craig) Fazakerley; grandchildren, Jalynn, Candace, Abbie, Josiah Bergman, Renee (Dan) Porrey, Ryan (Kim) Bergman, Jason (Leslie) Fazakerley, Lance (Ashly) Fazakerley, and Sarah Fazakerley (fiancée Jake Craft); great-grandchildren, Evan, Kitara, Isaac, Evelyn, Audrey, Jalie, and Landon. Also surviving are her brother, Tom (Jeanne) Aardema; sisters, Myrna Householder and Gloria (LaVerne) Ritzema; brother-in-law, Chet (Carol) Bergman; sisters-in-law, Stella Bergman and Gert Bergman; and many nieces and nephews. Vivian worked as a Realtor for Sturgis Realty for many years and as a secretary for the Salvation Army. She was an artist who enjoyed working with oil paint and teaching that skill to others. She also had a passion for traveling the World. A special thank you to the nurses and aids at the Christian Rest Home for the love and kindness shown to Vivian. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, February 15, 2016 at Walker United Reformed Church, 1941 Randall Ave NW with Rev. Corey Dykstra officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10 AM until the time of the service at church. Interment in Rosedale Memorial Park.
