Vivan Adams

Vivian V. Adams, age 96, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away Friday evening, August 18, 2017 in Kalamazoo. She was born on July 28, 1921 in Peoria, IL. Vivian worked for Langeland Funeral Homes. She also was employed by Jacobson's and Gilmore Brothers department stores for many years. Vivian enjoyed bowling and golfing. She was an avid reader, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and she was also quite artistic and enjoyed painting. Surviving are her two children: Randy (Laurie) Adams and Becky Dolph both of Kalamazoo; four grandchildren: Michelle (Randy) Rowlson, Bryan (Missie) Adams, Jason Dolph and Jeff Dolph; six great-grandchildren: Jasmine, Kayla and Lauren Adams, Adam and Aubrey Rowlson and Brianne Dolph. Preceding her in death were her parents: Peggy and Paul Meyer and toddler son: Ricky Adams. A memorial gathering to celebrate Vivian's life will be held from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, August 23, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street. Memorial contributions may be directed to Reverence Hospice.
