Vincent Odenwaller

Vincent Bernard Odenwaller of Kalamazoo, MI passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the age of 81. He was born in Kalamazoo on June 30, 1934, the son of the late Bill and Marie Odenwaller. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia. Vince graduated from Comstock High School, attended Western Michigan University, then was in the army 2 years before marrying Pat. He retired from Radio Shack in 2004 after 31 years of service. His hobbies included skiing, biking, singing, dancing, studying genealogy, and playing coronet in the Portage Senior Band. He also was a member of Kiwanis and Bittersweet's Ski Patrol. Vince is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Piscitelli and Julie Odenwaller, two granddaughters, Amelia Piscitelli and Violet Odenwaller, a sister, Janet Odenwaller Cunningham, several nieces, nephews, and 4 cousins. The funeral will take place at Saint Catherine of Siena on Centre Street in Portage at 11:30 on Tuesday, July 19. Visitation is at 10:30 and the funeral will be followed by a luncheon. In lieu of flowers, please donate in memory of Vince to Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
