Victoria "Vicky" Keelan, age 71, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 30, 2017, in Sebring, Florida. She was born on December 14, 1946 to the late David and Evelyn Lilly in Three Rivers, Michigan. She had proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. She was a resident of the Tanglewood Community and was a member of the Tanglewood Community Church. She was very passionate about education and had received her Bachelor of Arts degree from San Jose State University. Vicky worked at the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Department for 20 years. Vicky and her husband Terry retired in 1997 and moved to Cape Coral, Florida where they enjoyed sailing/boating, collecting shells and playing golf. In 2003 they moved to Sebring, Florida and settled into Tanglewood. Vicky had a strong faith in God, and was very active in her church, serving as the Treasurer and Secretary for a number of years, as well as one of the pianists for the church choir for 10 years. Vicky was very creative and loved the arts. She was an amazing painter and seamstress. She enjoyed teaching her grandkids these arts, and spent lots of time with each of them sewing, painting, quilting and creating or building art projects. She was preceded in death by her grandson, David Todd, Jr. of Denver, Colorado. She is survived by her husband of 39 years: Terry Keelan of Sebring, Florida; her children, son: David Todd of Las Vegas, Nevada, daughter: Sarah Hill (Isaac) of Orlando, Florida; step-son Jeffrey (Jodi) Keelan of Lawton, Michigan; her grandchildren: Isaac Jr., Samarah and Victoria Hill of Orlando, FL.; her sisters: Sally Hall of Sturgis, Michigan and Rebecca Lilly of Centreville, Michigan. She is also survived by other family members and friends. A Memorial Service was held for Victoria at the Tanglewood Community Church. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Cornerstone Hospice, 209 N. Ridgewood Drive, Sebring, FL 33870.
