Vera Edison

Vera M. Edison, age 69, of Cedar Springs, died Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Spectrum Health - Blodgett Campus. Vera was born November 3, 1938 in Charlevoix, MI the daughter of Harold and Mary (Perry) Towsley. She worked for General Motors Fisher Body for 28 years and was a member of the Red Hats. Surviving are her husband, Larry whom she married on May 20, 1966; five children, Ross Case, Corrine (Case) Ginniver, Scott Case, Ronald Edison, Mary Edison; 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; mother, Mary Towsley; three brothers, Roger (Bette) Towsley, Al (Loretta) Towsley, Stan Towsley. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Towsley. The family will receive friends Monday from 12 noon until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, www.blisswitters pike.com.
