Toby Dean Lynch 61 of Traverse City died Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at his home.

He was born on February 13, 1953 in Garden City the son of Clinton Eugene and Lucille Helen (Whitehead) Lynch.

Toby was a fitter and fabricator with Actron Steel and Mastech Manufacturing in Manistee.

He enjoyed going to car shows, especially muscle car shows and fishing.

Toby is survived by his wife, Candace H. (Cook) Lynch of Traverse City; they were married on May 12, 1987 in Lincoln Park; children, Amanda Lynch and her finance, Tim Willson, father, Clinton Lynch of Traverse City; brothers, Jamie Lynch of Ball Ground, GA and Virgil (Janice) Whitehead of Adrian

He is preceded in death by his mother, Lucille H. Lynch.

An informal gathering with family and friends will be held 2pm to 4pm Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Life Story Funeral Home with a brief service at 4pm.
