Tina Marie Putman

Tina Marie Putman, 51 of Traverse City, died Monday, March 7, 2016. She was born on September 18, 1964 in Livonia the daughter of Timothy Michael and Jacqueline Ann Robins. Tina grew up in Livonia and Farmington before moving to Traverse City.

Tina graduated from Traverse City High School in 1982. She was a former nurse aide with the Grand Traverse County Medical Care Facility, now the Grand Traverse Pavilions. She attended Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals in Lapeer from 1998 to 2001 to receive her massage therapy certificate. She was the owner of the Massage Wellness for over 16 years.

She was very active with her senior class with Alumni functions and Class Reunions. She was an active volunteer with massage therapy with the high school track and football teams. She also gave massages for both the Detroit Lions and Red Wings while in Training Camps.

Tina enjoyed social networking, both with face time and on her computer. She was a regular at the Coffee Clubs at Rounds and Sue's J & S Hamburg. Tina attended many churches and loved her church families and working in the nursery's. Tina enjoyed her two trips to Africa where she did massage therapy.

Tina is survived by her mother, Jacky Putman; sisters, Tracey Moyer, Tobi (Steve) Cook, Terri (Scott) Dayton and Jennifer (Mike) Chrispell; nieces and nephews, Dan, Leslie, Rachell, Tony, Erica, Paige, Amanda, Noah, Josh and Micah; great-niece, Tinsley; aunts; uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Timothy Putman; niece, Twila and brother-in-law, Russell Moyer..

Memorial Services will be held 11am, Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Traverse City. The family will greet friends starting at 10am. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Music Department or to her mother Jacqueline Putman to help with expenses.
