Clan Young is mourning the loss of our patriarch, Timothy Thomas Young of Milwaukee, WI who passed away the evening of Monday April 4th. Tim grew up right here on the east side of Milwaukee, and during his teen years could be found at his old stomping grounds from the Big Boy on North Avenue to the Red Barn on Oakland or the Pig & Whistle on Capitol Drive. Tim began his high school career at Messmer Catholic in 1964 and was a graduate of Riverside High School in 1968. On February 26, 1972 he married his first love, Carol Donley at St. John Vianney in Brookfield, WI. Recently retired in 2015, Tim lead a successful management career that spanned across major area employers including Advanced Transportation, JDC Logistics, and Chrysler.

In his passing we have lost a Father, a Husband, a Grandfather, a Brother, an Uncle, a Son, a Community Leader and a Loyal Friend. Tim was known to many as President, St. Andrews Society of the City of Milwaukee; Vice President, Clan Young International; Member of Wisconsin Scottish, Inc.; and as a Master Mason. With all of Tim’s Scottish society accomplishments and acquired titles, he will be most remembered for his kindness and compassion to friends and family in times of need. Whether he was working with his son or daughter’s on a home project, cracking jokes and spreading his sense of humor to uplift a friend, or helping his brothers, sisters, nieces & nephews, Tim always made himself available. His zest for life was contagious and he truly enjoyed being in a position to help, never turning away an opportunity to contribute to his friends, family & his community.

Tim is preceded in death by his father William Russell Young, Sr., mother Crescentia Gebhardt, brother Roger Anthony Young, Sister Claire Crescentia Young, and brother William Russell Young, Jr.

He will forever be loved and remembered by his wife Carol Young, Jacob Young & Robin Morgan of Milwaukee, WI, Sara & Roger Marcell, Jr. of Beltsville, MD and Courtney & James Duncan of White Hall, MD., who called him Father. Jacobson Young of Milwaukee, WI, Sebastian J. Marcell and Scarlett A. Marcell of Beltsville, MD who called him Grampa. Edward & Jackie Young, Thomas Young, Jonathan & Connie Young, Anne & Ralph Fitzgerald, Judith & Bill Bomm, and Isabel & Frank Lant who called him Brother.

His legacy lives on with his family.

Clan Young & Friends will be celebrating the life of our leader Tim Young Wednesday April 6th from 5pm - 8pm at Suminski Funeral Home 1901 N. Farewell Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53202.
