Timothy Benton

Benton, Timothy 7/13/1947 - 2/3/2016 Kalamazoo Timothy Benton Born July 13, 1947 passed away on Wednesday February 3, 2016 after a brief battle with cancer. Tim was a Viet Nam veteran serving in the US Air Force. He was a life-long educator of emotionally impaired and learning disabled students. Tim had recently returned to the Kalamazoo area after a number of years living in Las Vegas. Tim's remains have been donated to Western Michigan University Homer Stryker School of Medicine so that he may continue his gift of education to medical students. Tim is survived by brother and sister-in-law Patrick and Susan Benton, nephews Alex and Peter Benton and a number of other nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial will be held at a later date to celebrate Tim's life.
