Thomas W. Cramer

Thomas W. Cramer, age 58, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at his home as a result of a heart attack. Tom was born in Racine, WI May 10, 1958, son of Frank and Elizabeth (Nee: Mattie) Cramer.

He was a graduate of St. John Nepomuk Grade School and St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1976.” Tom’s employment included working at Metal World, WRJN as an announcer and technical technician, and last working at Prospect Heights as a resident assistant, where he was well liked by staff and residents.

He loved reading, especially science fiction. Tom was also the craftsman and creative force behind all the props of Hollows Way, that entertained thousands of people during Halloween over its 40 year history.

He is survived by cousins and many dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 16, 2016, 12:00 P.M. Noon, at Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 2510 Kinzie Avenue, with Reverend Ricardo Martin officiating.
