Thomas W. VonEitzen, age 60, of Battle Creek, MI passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at home. He was born on February 19, 1956, the son of Duane VonEitzen and Joan (Fonner) Meadows. Tom is survived by his Wife of 14 years, Kathleen (Bennett) VonEitzen of Battle Creek, MI; Son, Duane VonEitzen of CA; Daughter, Cassie VonEitzen of Homer, MI; Step-Daughters, Jessica Bess of Springfield, MI and Laura (Josh) Brown of Ida, MI; 14 Grandchildren; Brother, Tim (Deb) VonEitzen of Vicksburg, MI; Step-Brothers, David (Sharon) Meadows of Shelbyville, MI and Tom Meadows of Kalamazoo, MI; Step-Sisters, Sharon (Jim) Stevenson of Fuquay Varina, NC, Sue (Jerry) Shepherd of Valparaiso, IN, Diane (Keith) Johnson of Vicksburg, MI and Shirley (Don) Hoogstraten of Galesburg, MI. He was preceded in death by his Father, Duane VonEitzen and Mother, Joan Meadows. He was an avid softball player since 9 years old.A celebration service will be held at a later date.
