Thomas H. Triesenberg of Rockford, MI, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020, at the age of 46, with his wife, his two sons and brother by his bedside. He fought a courageous battle against cancer with a positive and feisty spirit. Tom was born on February 20, 1974, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to Richard and MaryBeth Triesenberg. After graduating from Kalamazoo Christian High School and Michigan State University, he began his lifelong career as a Mechanical Engineer. Tom was a mentor to many at Dematic for more than 20 years. He married the love of his life, Elizabeth (Fusko) Triesenberg on September 20, 1997. They were married 23 years. Tom had many passions, including spending time with his family, enjoying life outdoors, watersports and swimming on the lake, playing and refereeing soccer, sailing, Michigan State Athletics, muscle cars, and traveling. He was amazingly generous with his time and talents. Tom was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate heart. He was a faithful man of God who lived his life according to the teachings of the gospel. Tom regularly attended Bridgeway Community Church in Rockford with his family. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; two sons, Nathan and Daniel; parents, Richard and MaryBeth Triesenberg; mother-in-law, Judith Fusko; siblings, Derek (Michelle) Triesenberg and Amy (Ryan) Harris; brother-in-law, Michael (Jennifer) Fusko; sister-in-law, Lianna (Shawn) McLeese and many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank Spectrum Health Hospice for their care and compassion towards Tom. A private service will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2020, at Pederson Funeral Home, 127 N. Monroe Street NE, Rockford, MI 49341. Those that would like to follow the 1:00 p.m. service may find a livestream link on the funeral home website under Tom's tribute page. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to offer expressions of sympathy may make a memorial contribution to Spectrum Health Hospice, 750 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503 or to Edward Jones Investments to assist Tom's children.
