Thomas Charles Schwarz, age 68, of Kalamazoo, MI went to be with his Lord on Saturday, June 25, 2016. Thomas was born in Kalamazoo on June 1, 1948, the son of the late Charles William Schwarz and Kathryn Elizabeth (Pate) Schwarz. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Susan Lynne (Hageman) Schwarz; three children, Lisa (Darin) Yates, Lindsay (Brian) Montgomery and Jordan (Katie Yang) Schwarz; five grandchildren, Ava, Emma, Caroline, August and Reagan; two sisters, Dr. Leslie Jewett and Karen Horton; and several nieces and nephews. A private family graveside service was held in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to support the Frankel Cardiovascular Center Research Fund.
