Thomas Keltsch

Died Friday evening July 22, 2016 at his residence. Thomas was born May 21, 1941 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Robert and Ruth (Anspach) Keltsch. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was a route salesman for many years before retiring. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Thomas E. Keltsch, Jr. on November 21, 1981. He was also a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church where he was active in various church programs, especially Bible Study. Thomas loved spending time with his family and enjoyed playing bingo with his friends. On February 13, 1965, he was united in marriage to Susan Kay (Kimmer) Keltsch who survives. Also surviving, 2 daughters, Kelie Pickett of Allegan and Theresa (John) Devine of Kalamazoo; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, MaryAnn (James) Farrand of Bethlehem, PA and Susan (Dan) Curtiss of Portage; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o'clock Tuesday at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 7211 Oakland Drive. Visitation will be 6-8pm Monday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Good Samaritan Fund at St. Michael Lutheran Church or to the charity of your choice .
