Thomas Daniel Lonergan, age 82, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018, at Ascension All Saints Hospital. He was born in Racine, March 22, 1936, son of the late Ralph and Frances (Nee: Danek) Lonergan.

Tom proudly served in the U.S. Army Airborne Division while stationed at Fort Bragg. On August 15, 1959 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church he was united in marriage to Constance M. In his earlier years, Tom, also known as Lonz, enjoyed golf, bowling, fishing, camping and trips to Vegas. More recently he was happy playing morning card games with Connie and spending time with family. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather who will be remembered fondly for his infectious sense of humor and his love of the Green bay Packers.

Tom will be dearly missed by his loving wife of nearly 59 years, Connie; his daughters, Laure Lonergan Douglas, LuAnn (Charles Ritger) Lonergan, Lynn Ulatowski, Beth (Pete) Schiro, Dawn (Mark) Brimeyer; 12 grandchildren, Gina (Eric) Isaacson, Kyle Ulatowski, Nicole (Bobby) Wiltgen, Jacob Ulatowski (Samantha), Natalie Frederickson, Matthew Ritger, Carly Ritger, Luke Ulatowski, Andrew Brimeyer, Jesse Brimeyer, Samantha (Travis) Kraft, Daniel Schiro; great grandchildren, Hunter, Tanner, and Mykenna Isaacson, Noah Ulatowski; brother, Robert (Sharon) Lonergan; sister, Geraldine Gaitens; sisters-in-law, Janet Lonergan, Jane Brodsko (Gerald); brother-in-law, Bruce Brodsko; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Patrick, Richard (MaryJane) and Ralph.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, May 29, 2018, 5:00 p.m. Relatives and friends may meet at the funeral home prior to the service from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Private interment will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery.
