Therese "Terry'" Osinski, passed away on November 10, 2016 in Grand Rapids. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 3, 1927. Terry was preceded in death by parents Frank J. and Martha (Pawlak) Singer, by her husband of 54 years Leonard F. Osinski, and her great grandson Martin Osinski. Terry leaves behind her children Cathleen (Michael) West of Kentucky, John (Lynne) Raden of Ohio, Carol Amyuni of Grand Rapids, Martin (Pam) Osinski of Kentucky, Michael (Dennis Hatch) Osinski of Washington, Veronica Fadia (Lucas) Champlain of Kentucky; grandchildren Mark (Carrie) West, Scott (Shannon) West, Elizabeth (Brandon) West May, Justin Raden, Jenna Raden, Devon Raden, Randy (Brittany) Amyuni, Aundrea Amyuni, Martin (Shae) Osinski, Cathleen Padula, Adam Champlain; 13 great grandchildren and a great great grandson; brother Frank (Anne) Singer of Sterling Heights, and numerous nieces and nephews of which she was a godmother to many.

Terry worked with USO during WWII and was very active throughout her life serving others:

Board Member and sponsor of Madison Heights, MI, Marauders Drum and Bugle Corps

Board Member of Alhambra’s Sultanas, Detroit, MI

Co Director of St. Francis Camp for Mentally Challenged, Jackson, MI

Active member of St. Patricks Catholic Church, Traverse City, MI for years

Active member of Foster Grandparents of Traverse City, MI

Her family will receive visitors on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 12 noon until 4 PM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home -Van Strien Creston Chapel, 1833 Plainfield Ave NE. Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery in Traverse City. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to either Faith Hospice or the American Heart Association.
