Parish, Suzanne 10/28/1957 - 6/24/2016 Queen Creek, Arizona Suzanne Mary Parish (58) left the bonds of earth on 6/24/16 to join her parents Lewis and Elizabeth Pearson and son Robert Riegler in Heaven. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Parish and daughter, Kathryn Riegler Moser. Her spirit and ready smile will be missed by all her friends from Michigan as well as new ones from Arizona. Sue was born in Kalamazoo on 10/28/57. She was a graduate of Portage Northern High School where she sang in the concert choir. She was a longtime resident of Portage, having earned an RN from KVCC. Recently moving to the warm, dry climate of Arizona with her husband where she put her choir skills to use by singing 1940's and 50's radio jingles for the Great Southwest Radio Theatre program. She oversaw the expansion of the San Tan Artists organization, helping the membership grow from five to 50 artists. Her most current passion was helping develop the State-acknowledged "Artisan Village of Coolidge". As a member of the Village, she vividly pursued her passions of art by creating and teaching the making of unique jewelry. A service celebrating Sue's life will be held at 11:00 AM, July 5th at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 9420 Portage Road, Portage MI. All are invited to come and share their memories of this wonderful lady. An internment will follow at the Central Portage Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to "Coolidge Performing Arts Center Foundation, Inc", a 501c3 organization.
