Susan Yetter

Yetter, Susan K. of Kalamazoo Susan, age 70, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 2, 2017 surrounded by family. She was born on October 3, 1946 in Saginaw, MI, the daughter of the late Vince and Ann Kingry. Susan worked at Borgess Hospital in public relations until her retirement. She enjoyed time with her six grandchildren, her family, playing bridge, shopping, travel, and spending time with her many friends. Surviving are her husband Denny; two sons: Nick (Sarah) Yetter, Jeff (Tonya) Yetter; six grandchildren: Bretlyn, Jared, Mark, Anna, Tori, and Alex; sister: Margaret 'Peggy' Kingry; niece: Cainnear Hogan; many close friends; and the Young Women's Bridge Group. Susan was also involved with P.E.O. and the Ladies Library. She was able to celebrate several milestones this year. Her 70th birthday, 50 years of marriage for which they had a wonderful celebration with family and friends, and this Christmas season. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM on Tuesday, January 31, at Langland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3629 S. 9th Street. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 1, at St. Monica Catholic Church, 534 W. Kilgore Road. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions can be made to the West Michigan Cancer Center or Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
