Susan Robbert

Susan A. Robbert, age 56, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Borgess Medical Center. She was born on October 29, 1959 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Harold and Nancy (Peckhem) Wright. She was a loved member of the Bimbo's Pizza family in Kalamazoo for many, many years. On June 21, 2003, she was married to the love of her life, Doug Robbert, who survives. Also surviving are her three children: Paul (Amanda) Paltelki, Mandy Rappleye and Mike Rappleye; three grandchildren: Paul Jr., Grady and Jaxson; two step-children: Scott (Katie) Robbert and Rachel (Garrett) Myland; two step-grandchildren: Eylie and Liam; mother: Nancy Blanchard; brother: Steve (Debora) Wright; sister: Tammy (Ron) Schmellmeyer; niece: Renee Schmellmeyer; nephew: Erik Wright; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding her in death were her father: Harold Wright; brother: Charlie Wright; and step-father, Paul Blanchard. Visitation will be from 2-8 PM on Friday, Sept. 23, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street. A funeral service to celebrate Suzie's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, Sept. 24, at the funeral home. Pastor Dwaine Chapdelaine will officiate. Interment will follow in West Cooper Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to American Lung Association or American Heart Association
