Susan Raskin

Raskin, Susan K. Kalamazoo, MI Susan Kay Raskin passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019. She was born August 4, 1946 in Kalamazoo, MI a daughter of Bernard and Alice (Baker) DeWitt and had been a lifelong area resident. Susan retired from the accounting department at The Upjohn Company. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, quilting and her pets. Susan was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Joyce Leep. On July 2, 1992 she married Robert "Bob" Raskin who survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Lea Anne Raskin of Parchment; step-children, Terry (Lonnie) Lapekas and David (Evguenia) Raskin; grandchildren, Samantha "Sam" (Jeffrey) Nichols and Nicholas Rantz; great-grandson, Carter Nichols; brother, Bernard DeWitt; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 8pm Friday, March 8th at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street. A memorial service will be held at 11am Saturday, March 9th at Comstock Christian Reformed Church, 5300 Comstock Avenue. Private inurnment will be held in Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park, South.
