Susan Leathers

Leathers, Susan J. Portage Passed away Saturday morning, June 19, 2021 at Kairos Dwelling. Sue was born August 2, 1947 in Detroit, MI the daughter Chester and Carol (Doggett) Leathers and grew up on Austin Lake in Portage. Prior to her retirement she was the Vice President of the Cal Manufacturing Company. Sue was an avid bowler and achieved a 300 game, along with numerous 700 series while bowling in various leagues. She is survived by her brother, Dennis (Rolene) Leathers; nieces, Marilee Cekola, Melonie (Brad) Schmitz; and several great nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place at the Langeland Family Cremation Center. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Memorials my be directed to the SPCA of Kalamazoo or Kairos Dwelling.
