Susan Brower

Age 71, went to be with her Lord and Savior with her family at her bedside on December 31, 2018. She was born on July 22, 1947, in Kalamazoo, Michigan to the late Auris V. Bair and Olive (Thomas) Bair. On August 7, 1971, she was united in marriage to Robert A. Brower. They were blessed with two daughters, Amy and Sarah. Her passion was to serve her Lord Jesus Christ in everything she did. She was a loving and faithful woman who was adored by all who crossed her path. She loved spending time with her family and siblings and was very close to her many friends. All who knew her were inspired by her unwavering faith and gentle spirit. She graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School and Western Michigan University. She worked for many years as a librarian assistant at the Kalamazoo Public Library. She is survived by her husband Robert, daughters Amy (David) Boersma and Sarah (Seth) Gerber, her grandchildren Andrew Boersma, Nathan Boersma, Grace Boersma, Olivia Boersma, her brothers Thomas Bair, Jack (Sheila) Bair, Richard (Bonnie) Bair and her sister Anne Bair. There will be a visitation at Joldersma and Klein Funeral Home on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11:00 AM at New Day community Church, 3600 Nichols Road, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49009. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday, beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment at Riverside Cemetery.
