Cravens, Suellyn Of Kalamazoo, MI Suellyn (Jones) Cravens, born to Paul B. and Bette (Hatfield) Jones, Jr. on April 15, 1942, passed away November 7, 2020. Sue graduated from Niles High School Class of 1960, where she was involved with National Honor Society, Rainbow Girls and orchestra where she played the Cello. She went on to earn her LPN Nursing degree from Southwestern Michigan College. In June of 1991, she relocated to Anchorage, Alaska to be with her parents. During those years in Alaska, she worked for Mapco/Williams Oil Company as a Store Manager, and ultimately retired from Tesoro Oil Company after 20 years of service. Suellyn loved Alaska and resided there for 26 years. In March of 2019, she came home to spend the rest of her days with love ones. Suellyn was a giver of herself, and would do anything for people, even take them in. She had a heart of gold and never hurt anyone. Her memory lives on in her children. Suellyn loved her animals, shopping, watching old Western's, and the ID Channel. She especially enjoyed sitting in the sunshine, enjoying a cup of coffee, doing crossword puzzles and reading a good book. She is survived by five children: Mark Cravens (Jennifer Daugherty) of Arizona, Wendy Green (fiance Jim Ortez) of Pullman, MI, Joseph Cravens (Cindy) of Oregon, Kari Banks of Florida, Timothy Cravens (Beckie) of Kalamazoo, MI; five grandchildren; siblings: Melinda Downs of Delton, MI, Sally Benedict of, Georgia, Paul B. Jones, III (Dawn) of Scotts, MI, Scott Jones of Kalamazoo, MI, Cheryl Snow of Saginaw, MI, Beth Penny of Kalamazoo, MI; many nieces and nephews. Suellyn was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Mary Gerould, Charles and Arthur Baumgarte. In accordance with Sue's wishes cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation or services. A Native American Proverb: "We will be known forever by the tracks we leave."
