Stephen D. Kovach, age 67, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Ascension All Saints Medical Center. He was born in Racine, January 6, 1951, son of John and Margaret Mary (Nee: Sakach) Kovach. He proudly served with the United States Marine Corps. He was employed by J.I. Case Company for thirty years, retiring in 2003.
He will be dearly missed by his mother, Margaret Mary; his children, Stacy Roschen, Lisa Kovach; his grandchildren, Brett Kovach (fiancée, Amanda Vieau), Austin Kovach, Andrew Kovach, Brooklyn Roschen, Kaleb Babington; sister, Catherine Kovach; brother, John “Skip” (Mary) Kovach; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John D. Kovach Jr. and brother, William J. Kovach.
Funeral services with Full Military Honors will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at McPhearson Cemetery, Raymond, WI. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Tuesday at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. Memorials to one’s favorite charity have been suggested.
