Stefania Rue

Rue, Stefania 4/22/1934 - 9/28/2016 Bolingbrook Illinois Stefania Rue, 82, of Bolingbrook, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. Stefania was born April 22, 1934, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in Biology, English and Education. She taught in the Chicago Public Schools and CAL Community School (Iowa) systems. She is survived by her husband, Robert, her daughter, Karen (Stuart) Hartlep of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, sisters Janina Wait of Allegan, Michigan, Marya Grimes of Lansing, Michigan, and granddaughter Leah (Steve) Petesch of Prairie City, Iowa. Stefania was preceded in death by her parents, John and Stefania (Klosinska) Dzialowski, her daughter, Victoria Janina Rue, her son, Stefan Michael Rue, and her brother, Mieczyslaw Dzialowski. Stefania was passionate about nature and treasured her summer vacations at Gun Lake and South Haven, Michigan with her family and life-long friends.
