Shirley Hill

Shirley A. Hill, age 64, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015. Shirley was born in Kalamazoo on September 22, 1951 to the late Charles W. and Aileen (Thomas) Hill. She enjoyed ancestry research and crocheting. Shirley cherished her time spent with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Rachel Hill and James Shilts; six grandchildren; brothers and sister, Robert Hill, Sharon (John) Charlier, Harold Hill and Tommy Hill; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Ray Penn. In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by brothers, William, Edward, Charles and Larry Hill. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Private inurnment will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Comstock. Memorial contributions may be given to the Susan G. Komen Michigan, c/o of the funeral home.
