Shirley Burnham

Shirley Burnham, age 86 of Plainwell passed away on February 25, 2016 at Life Care Center in Plainwell surrounded by family. Shirley was born on July 2, 1929 to William & Ruth (Conklin) Hackman. She will be laid to Rest at Ft. Snelling cemetery in Bloomington, MN next to her husband Dale at a later date. Shirley’s family includes her children: Dale (Kathe) Burnham of Plainwell MI, Lynn (Lone Wolf) Burnham of Plainwell, Andrea Hanson of Mattawan MI, Patty (John) Nyberg of Plainwell, Tony (Tia) Burnham of Apple Valley MN; 19 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; her daughter-in-law Eunie Burnham of Apple Valley MN; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 43 years Dale (1990), her son Thomas Burnham (2005) and her grandson Gregory (2001). Shirley was a member of the Everett McClay VFW Post 1296 and the American Legion Post 1776 Apple Valley, MN. Shirley lived for her children grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be dearly missed. The family wants to thank Life Care and Hospice for their excellent care.
