Sheryl Price

Sheryl Lynn Price, 45, of Lawton, Michigan, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the Palms of Pasadena Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was born on February 13, 1972, in Downers Grove to parents Jack and the late Carol (Hubert) LaMantia. Raised in Plainfield, Illinois, Sheryl graduated from Plainfield High School in 1990 and went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University in 1996. She worked for over 20 years in the aerospace industry, most recently with Parker Hannifin, where she spent 16 of those years. On October 20, 2001, Sheryl was united in marriage to the love of her life, Daniel Price. Sheryl loved the beach and found great joy in gardening. She also enjoyed running and working out, competing in several road races in the area over the past several years. Most of all, Sheryl adored spending time with her beautiful daughters, family and her many friends. Sheryl is survived by her loving husband, Daniel of Lawton; daughters Hannah and Addisyn; father, Jack (Joyce) LaMantia of Vonore, TN; sister, Ann LaMantia of Vonore, TN; aunt, Dorothy LaMantia of Maryville, TN; and brother-in-law, Donald (Nanette) Price II of Marcellus. She was preceded in death by her mother Carol LaMantia. Family will receive friends at Adams Funeral home, 502 West Michigan Ave, Paw Paw, on Monday, April 17th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Paw Paw on Tuesday, April 18th at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lawton following the mass. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lawton Athletic Boosters.
