Sherry Person

Sherry A. Person, age 58, passed away at her residence on Sunday May 17, 2015. Sherry was born in Racine on November 18, 1956, daughter of Ellis and Juanita (nee: Finley) Person Sr.

Sherry was a proud graduate of Wm. Horlick High School “Class of 1975”. She retired from Chrysler Mfg. after thirty years of employment. In her spare time, Sherry loved travelling, going on cruises, and trips to casinos to test her luck. Above all, she loved her time spent with her family and friends at barbecues and family outings.

Sherry will be dearly missed by her fiancé, Major Allgood; her children, Tamara (Wendell) Bishop of Fredericksburg, VA, Deonte (Lakeuisha) Person of Omaha, NE, Denice (Desmond) Fulce of Racine; her mother, Juanita Person of Racine; eight grandchildren, Tynisha, Tyasia, Quinton, Deonte Jr., Dev’vin, De’Arian, Desiree and Lamar; sisters and brothers, Kathy Love of Newport News, VA, Ellis (Cindy) Person Jr of Tracy, CA, Dwight (Sandra) Person of Racine, Marnita (Lester) Chaney of Houston, TX, Michelle (Robert) Williams of Hampton, VA, Yvette Person of Windsor, CT; special Godsister, Sara Carter of Racine; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sherry was preceded in death by her father, Ellis.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday May 26, 2015, 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
