Sharon Philipp

Died Tuesday evening November 13, 2018. Sharon was born August 2, 1941 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Edward and Leora (Whitlock) Kuiper. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was a former member of the Vicksburg United Methodist Church. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; a brother David Kuiper in July of 1944; a daughter, Becky Jones in March of 2015; and a granddaughter Allison Sharon Jones in June of 1996. On September 9, 1967, she was united in marriage to Robert J. Philipp who survives. Also surviving, a son-in-law, Greg Jones of Kalamazoo; 5 grandchildren; 3 sisters; a brother, Harvey (Susan) Kuiper of Vicksburg; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held 11 o'clock on Monday, November 19th at St. Andrews Community Church, 3631 Covington Rd, followed by a Luncheon at the Church. Dress will be casual.
