Selma Taylor

Selma (Sally Maile) Taylor, age 99, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away peacefully, September 4, 2016, at Rose Arbor Hospice. She was born in Edgartown, Massachusetts on Martha's Vineyard Island. She was the daughter of Elroy and Alfrida Willoughby and the sister of her identical twin Thelma. She attended Western Michigan University where she met her husband Richard Maile. They resided in the village of Schoolcraft where they raised seven children. She is remembered as a great cook, a homemaker, a member of the Schoolcraft Ladies Library, a Cub Scout Den Mother, and an avid Bridge player. She is survived by sons Roydon of Eureka, Montana, Tomme of Kalamazoo, Mi, Jeffrey of Bloomingdale Mi, Roderick of Popsham, Vermont, and Tyrol of Marcellus, Mi. Two daughters, Dixine and Lori Ann preceded her in death. She remarried late in life to the late John Fawcett Taylor. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
