Gregory Scott Antonides was born January 14, 1951. He was raised by his parents, Albert and Marion Antonides, never knowing his biological mother who passed away when Scott was very young. His childhood years were spent near Campau Lake, Michigan. After high school, he joined the U.S. Army and served in Germany. Upon his return, he joined his parents in Munising, Michigan where he lived for many years with them. He devoted his time to his parents, but he also loved the hunting and fishing opportunities in the Upper Peninsula. Scott worked for many years at the lumber mill in town. His father passed away in 1989. Scott and his mother remained in Munising until a couple of years ago when they decided to move to Wayland so they could be closer to medical care. His mother passed away in 2017. Scott was also preceded in death by his brother Allen. He is survived by his sister, Evelyn (Rich) Ekkens, Gordon (Roberta) Antonides and sister-in-law Barbara Antonides. He will also be greatly missed by niece Terri (Al) Hagen and many other family members. A private graveside service will be held at Fairplains Cemetery.
