Sarah J. Hush

Sarah Jane (Newman) Hush, 63, of Nixa, passed away at home with her husband by her side on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. Jane was born on Wednesday July 1, 1953 in Berkley, California to Lou Eva Rankin and Earl Redford Newman.

Jane married Denny Hush in 1992 and together, owned and operated Ozark Mountain Granite. She was a passionate animal lover and rescuer. Jane was also a loyal fan of the Green Bay Packers and enjoyed traveling to games with Denny throughout the years.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband; her mother-in-law Arlene Reikkoff; three children, Jenny Thomas, Sarah Cornelison and John Dodds; one step-daughter Tiffany Dawson; three sisters, Sue Sparlin, Betty Verduzco and Wanda Newman; two brothers Bill and Jim Newman; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm on Friday, February 10, 2017 at the Maresh - Meredith and Acklam Funeral Home, 803 Main St., Racine, WI 534063, with entombment to follow at the West Lawn Memorial Park.
