Sandra Jordan

Sandra K. Jordan passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at the age of 77. Sandy was born July 26, 1939 in Kalamazoo to the late Robert and Helen (Schascheck) Munger. Sandy worked for Parchment Public Schools as a transportation driver for over 25 years. She began her career as a Special Education driver and then drove a school bus until retirement. She enjoyed all of the kids that she transported; she especially enjoyed the charter trips to sporting events. She built many special and lifetime relationships throughout her association with Parchment, including many years at Dick & Sil's Restaurant. Sandy was very passionate and active member of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She served as the Kalamazoo Chapter President for many years. Once retired, she enjoyed vacations and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including all the puppy dogs! Sandy is survived by her children, Mark (Marie) Jordan and Debbie (Todd) Hill; grandchildren, Melissa (Andy), Travis (Sara), Steven (Jessica) and Stephanie; great grandchildren, Kameron, Olivia, Braylynne, Brody, Brock, Bristol, Logan and Violet; and several nieces and nephews. Sandra was preceded in death by her siblings Phillip Munger and Janet Albright. The family will greet friends on Thursday, March 23rd from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., where a funeral service will be held on Friday, March 24th at 11:00 am, The Rev. Mary Perrin officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Comstock. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sandy's name may be directed to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Troy, MI.
