Sandra Mae Frentrup (Stark), age 68, left this earth for her heavenly Home on 12-31-16 with her husband and daughter by her side. She loved her Lord Jesus Christ and was looking forward to seeing his face. Sandee was born in Storm Lake, Iowa to John and Lois Stark. She graduated from Storm Lake High School in 1966 and Iowa Lutheran Hospital as an X-Ray Technician in 1968. She was employed for 28 years by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education as a Representative for their live classes in Grand Rapids, Lansing and Kalamazoo. In addition, Sandee retired as a Sales Associate with Target Corp (J L Hudson, Marshall Fields, Dayton-Hudson) after 13 years of service. Her passion was travel, including 18 cruises. Her visits included, 5 trips to the Caribbean, 3 trips to Europe, 2 trips to Hawaii, in addition to Russia, China, Alaska, and Panama. While traveling she enjoyed her hobby of photography. She especially enjoyed traveling with her grandchildren and showing them special places. She was preceded in death by her Parents John and Lois Stark and her in laws Donald E. and Gloria Frentrup. She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Don Frentrup, her first husband, and father of her children, Steve (Becky) Deer, daughter Shelby (Tim) Clay and her son Spencer (Karli) Deer, grandchildren Donnie, Timmie, Joey, Ally, and Robbie Clay and Corey, Sydney, Calen Deer. Also her sister Tricia Taylor and nieces Shaunna (Dirk, Greta, Greighson) Fankhauser and Sherae (Jason, Stella, Julia) Brown along with many friends and extended family. As per her request, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery and Mausoleum in the Spring. Memorial services will be held 7 PM Friday, January 27, 2017 at Banner of Christ Church, 1111 68th St. SW, Byron Center. Relatives and friends may meet Sandee's family Friday from 6-7 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Sandee may be made to Faith Hospice.
