Ruth E. Scoby aged 97, of Grand Rapids, passed away on February 22, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; daughters, Peggy Tower and Elizabeth Tower; grandchildren, Debra Tower, Christine Holt and Russell Tower; and siblings, Teresa (Joe) Purcey, Pearl (Herm) Eberlein, Harry (Joyce) Oosterwal and Ellen (Bob) Klamer. Surviving are her children, William Scoby and Ellen Scoby; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Jessie (Al) McKay; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 PM on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, 851 Leonard St. NW. Interment in Graceland Memorial Gardens.
