Ruth Plasman

Ruth V. Plasman age 95 of Zeeland died Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Appledorn Living Center.

Ruth was born in Overisel and was baptized at Overisel Reformed Church where she remained a member all her life. She was part of the Quilt Committee at the church and for several years was employed as a waitress at Skip In in Hamilton. Ruth also helped out during elections in Overisel.

In 2005, both her son David Plasman as well as her husband John Plasman passed away.

She is survived by her son, Jerry Plasman of Zeeland, daughter-in-law, Janice Plasman of Holland, granddaughter, Dacia Webb, great grandsons; Adam Webb and Andrew Webb, sisters-in-law, Dorothy Rigterink and Juella Schrotenboer both of Holland and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11:00AM at Mulder Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes, 188 West 32nd St. with Rev. Andre Batt officiating. Burial will be in Overisel Cemetery.

Friends may greet the family Tuesday 5-7 at the chapel.

Memorial gifts in Ruth’s name may be given to Hospice of Holland.
