Ruth Peck

Ruth Peck, age 90, of Portage, MI passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016. Ruth was born in Port Huron on August 1, 1926, the daughter of the late Russell and Esther (Semrau) Clark. She moved to Kalamazoo in 1946. She was employed with Portage Public Schools and then retired from Consumers Energy in 1988. Following her retirement, she worked at Ruby's Womens Apparel. She is survived by her children, Ronald (Patty) Peck of Schoolcraft, Randy Peck of Portage and Brenda (Bob) Young of Dowling; six grandchildren, Roni, Angie, Jesse, Ryan, Jake and Jen; and twelve great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel
