Ruth Champlin

Champlin, Ruth F. 9/2/1925 - 8/2/2018 Portage, Michigan Ruth Howard Champlin, 92 of Portage, Michigan, originally of Hoosick Falls, NY, passed on to meet her Lord, on 8/22/18. Ruth was preceded in death by husband, the late Edwin Brenenstuhl, and married Kenneth Champlin in 1999. Ruth will be missed by many, daughters Jane Dorset (Tom) of Washington DC , Carol Michie(Bob) of Rhinebeck, NY. Grand daughters Katie Dorset (Washington,DC),Megan Michie (St. Louis, MO), Danielle Boase (Boone, NC), Jennie Boase (Raleigh, NC) and step children, Deena Peters (Denver, Co) Denice Champlin (Aiken, SC) David Champlin (Portage, MI) and Lori Boase (David, Asheville, NC.) Grandsons Andrew Allgaier ( wife, Joan and daughter Anneliese of Denver, CO), Aaron Allgaier (wife Stephanie and 3 sons, Dominick, Aiden, and Chance.) As well as Ken's step-daughters; Shirley Riggs of Kalamazoo and her children, Marcia and Corey. Susan McNutt (Jerry)of Schofield, WI and her children, Jeremiah, James, and Sara, and grandchildren. Ruth will be missed by many other special relatives and friends she has gathered along her entire life. Memorial services (after private internment Hoosick Falls, NY,) will be held at Texas Corners Bible Church on Thursday September 6, 2018 @ 11:00 AM followed by a light lunch at the church. 7780 S. 8th Street, Kalamazoo, Mi. 49009.
