Rudolph "Rudy" Jesse Herrera

Rudolph “Rudy” Jesse Herrera, age 71, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. He was born February 3, 1945, son of the late Jesus and Mary (Nee: Radocay) Herrera. Rudy was employed by Western Publishing for twenty-four years.

Rudy will be sadly missed by his two sons, Rick and Tim Herrera; granddaughter, Natelli Herrera; brother, Tony (Wendy) Herrera; sister, Dora (Nain Garcia) Herrera; and Mary Bernal, his fiancée, and longtime companion of eighteen years; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends. In addition to his parents Rudy was preceded in death by his sister, Janet “Pita” Herrera.

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.

The family of Rudy would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and Wheaton Franciscan Hospice for the excellent and compassionate care given to Rudy and family. Also, thank you to Pastor Walker of Racine Assembly of God, the Chaplains and Priests who ministered to Rudy.
