Rudolph Papierz

Rudolph S. Papierz, Jr., age 67, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away at home on December 30, 2016. Rudy was born in Kalamazoo on June 23, 1949 to the late Rudolph S. and Edith (Rabb) Papierz. He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. Rudy is survived by his children, Liz, Greg and Andy Papierz; grandchildren, Justin Bloomfield, Mya Reyna and Isabella Papierz; sisters, Marye Ann (Bill) Fitzsimmons and Pat (Vic) Fitzsimmons and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jovanna Baumgarte and his grandson, Brandon Rapa. A committal service with military honors will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 1:30 PM (those planning to attend should meet at the funeral assembly area by 1:15 PM).
