Ruby M. Beckman of Kalamazoo formerly of Grand Rapids, MI walked with her Savior into eternity on Wednesday, May 20, 2015. She was born in 1925 in Jamestown, Indiana to Benjamin and Fern Church. She was the wife of Rev. Carl E. Beckman for 56 years until his death in 2005. She was a member of Berean Baptist Church Grand Rapids, and faithfully attended Calvary Bible Church after her move to Kalamazoo. She is survived by siblings, Ralph Church of Coldwater, Michigan, Pearl (Larry) Minor of Montgomery, Michigan and Dean (Becky) Church of Trenton, Michigan. She leaves behind three children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Calvary Bible Church Chapel, 855 S. Drake Rd., Kalamazoo, MI 49009. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church chapel. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at Knauss Cemetery, Kinderhook, Branch County, Michigan. Memorials may be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship, Park Village Pines Christian Retirement Association or Rose Arbor Hospice Residence.
